How do I clean my board?

After use, Hand Wash in warm soapy water, then it is best to dry your board in a dish rack or pat it dry. Do not leave your board to dry in the sun as the intense heat caused by the sun could warp your board. Do not soak your board in water, and you should never place it in the dishwasher.

How do I oil or condition my board?

Depending on how often you use your board, we would recommend oiling it regularly, about every second month. The best guide is when your board is looking pale, or dry, then it needs conditioning (oiling). Using a paper towel, apply a coat of vegetable oil to the board. Wipe off the excess oil and let the rest soak into your board over approx. 15-20 minutes. Then your board should be looking like new.

Warranty/Refunds

All our products go through a stringent quality control process prior to despatch. If by chance we miss something, then we also provide a manufacturer’s warranty against factory defects for a period of up to 12 months.

We package your order in a way which significantly reduces the likelihood of damage in transit. However, if your board is damaged in transit, it will be replaced free of charge. In this instance, please notify us immediately, keep all packaging for return and if possible take a photo of the damaged board on arrival.

Wild Wood does not accept returns or refunds for boards which have already been used, have been treated incorrectly (e.g. placed in the dishwasher or left soaking in water), or have not been purchased from us (no proof of purchase).

Wild Wood does not provide a refund where there is a change of mind.
